Kevin – Time Off from dSb 2015 Tour; dSb to Perform at the Hunter Mountain German Alps Festival, as Scheduled

To All Friends & Fans of dSb,

Kevin BarbitschAs many of you may already know, this year marks the band’s 25th Anniversary. However, as we head up to Hunter Mountain this weekend for the German Alps Festival, we are sad to announce that it will mark the first time that dSb will perform on stage without our brother (drummer/band leader/manager), Kevin Barbitsch.

Kevin was admitted to Good Samaritan Hospital on Long Island the previous Sunday, July 26th and is still currently fighting to recover from his illness. At this time, we are not sure when Kevin will be able to resume playing drums, as it appears he will need some time to heal. With that said, we all have great faith and hope that, in time, Kevin will make a full recovery and will be rejoining us on the road for another fun band season. In the meantime, dSb has received many generous offers from other fellow musicians to jump in and help out. As difficult as it will be to perform as dSb without our friend and bandmate, we have taken up the offer to help us fulfill our 2015 season show schedule. Kevin wouldn’t have it any other way! : )

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you all sometime during the season.

Sincerely,
The dSb Family
